To all you HILL's out there. I am trying to find any information about John Hill (wife Mercy) of Tissington in Derbyshire. They had at least 7 children - Eliza, Mary Ann, Florence (married Lewis Cooper), Frederick, Harry, Charlie and John Thomas (my great-grandfather), who married Florence Addy. John Thomas was born in 1865 so a rough guess is that his father John was born between 1830 and 1845. John Thomas and Florence Addy were married in Matlock in 1895 and had 2 children, George (my grandfather) and Florence. If you think you might be a descendant of John and Mercy Hill of Tissington in Derbyshire please get in touch. Paul |
