Looking for any information or relatives belonging to a Hill family in Bradford. My grandmother Nellie was a Hill. She had a brother called James. Her father was called James Hartley Hill (mother Jane Walker) and his father was also called Samuel Hill. James Hartley Hill had sister called Emma who married a chap called Whitehead Potts and emigrated to America. He had a brother called John whom I believe married a girl in Bradford and then eloped to America with his sweetheart. He also had a sister called Margaret Ann Hill who married a chap called Benjamin Calvert. Any information would be greatly appreciated. |
