My father was Henry Hilton - 1916-1981. I'm not sure where he was born but lived in Clayton-le-Woods near Chorley in his chilhood. After the war he married my mother Irene & lived the rest of his life in Derbyshire - very rarely returning back to his birthplace. His fathers name was Henry & I think his mothers name was /Elizabeth (but I'm not sure). He has several brothers and sisters, some I have never met & I guess may not now be alive - names I recall are brothers Bob, Tommy; sisters Dora & Margerate (who I know her married name was Duff & she had 3 daughters & lived near Chorley). If anyone has any information on relatives I would be grateful |
