my great grandfather born 1908 alfred kept the name Hilton until he was 16 when he changed backto his birth name to aitken taylor. He joined the army (circa 1925)boxed for them in India and became a champion. aitkin-taylor i beleive is was his mothers maiden name. he finally moved with his second family to austrialia where he died at i believe 99 years old. his first wife was elsie hammond they were married 17/11/1934 manchester both resided 156 Moston Lane, they had 5 children and lived Barrett Street Old Trafford. he then left her for Pauline and went on to have another family and moved to Australia.
