Hi, My father was Charles Roland Hilton (b1903 Darwen, Lancs - died 1972, St Asaph, N.Wales). He was one of a dozen or more children of Charles William Hilton (b. 1881 Bolton le Moors, Lancs) & Frances Patterson (b. 1878 Cleator Moor, Cumberland). I have the names of some of his siblings as follows: Harold Norman, Sam, Horace, Arthur, Charlie, Fred, Andrew, Edith & Sissie, whom I believe were all born from 1900 onwards. Nothing more is known of any of them and I would be interested to see if there are living relatives out there. Their father, Samuel, lived in Bamber Bridge for many years, where he was employed as a railway clerk. I would imagine dad's brothers & sisters were born in that or the Darwen area of Lancashire. Thanks, Andrew Hilton. |
