Trying to find any relations of my grandad...
I recently found out he may have been married before he met my nan (also no longer alive) and a possibility of a child???
He was born in Bham and had a sister who was institionalised, and two brothers who died as young men.
I don't know who their father was as he was never around when my dad was a boy, and there mother was either married or living with someone else in Bham. My dad doesn't know if he died or if they divorced.
Lots of loose ends here and possibilities.

when did he marry your nan, so i have a date to work from for his first marriage.
foound this one
Albert E Horton married Edna M Robinson in Bham vol 6d page 833, 3rd qtr 1939.

I've just remembered his first (possibly) wife left him in the war so it must have been before 1944. She ran off with another man apparently when he was away.
