A couple of years ago my mother gave me some papers, and among them was this cross-stitch sewing with the a name at the bottom of Harriett Say Hughes, Everton, 21st June 1832.

I presume this is a distant relative of mine (my mother knows nothing at all) and wonder if anyone knows who she is, age or death etc. I have looked on the FreeBMD and Harriett Say Hughes married in Liverpool in 1842, but there are several mens names, John Hartley, Robert Hughes, Alexander Newell and John Pavis, but still cannot find any connection with my tree! Please can anyone help?

Did she die before 1851. Does anyone know if they had any children? The only connection I can think of is with my Owen side of the family who came from Altrincham.
