thomas hughes(1886) married 28/11/1911 adress 20 cottier street liverpool occupation plasterer (journeyman) father thomas hughes plasterer labourer.
Thomas. Cannot find him on 1911 census there is a famlly of Thomas' in that address presumably his parents and siblings but checking previous 2 census the birth dates are not correct. I have searched indices but no birth certificate for him, any ideas, many thanks, Sue

Address at time of marriage could be lodgings...........or an address of convenience to save having two sets of Banns

After 1875, it was illegal not to register births

I have marriage certificate and with that family of Thomas on the 1911 census presumed it was his father so searched 1901 and 1891 showing a thomas hughes born in llandudno, also mother in law said her father came from Wales so presumed it was correct.
