Does anyone know anything about a Hughes family living in Belle Vue, Carlisle? On the 1881 census they are listed as: Dennis Hughes 54 Gardener Dennis Hughes 13 Son Elizabeth Hughes 50 Wife Elizabeth Hughes 10 Daughter Joseph John Hughes 17 Son Margaret Hughes 15 Daughter James O'Connell 23 Son in Law Winifred O'Connell 20 Daughter I can find some of them on the 1891 and 1901 census but would be interested to know anything more about them. (The younger Elizabeth may be my G-Grandmother but her history after 1901 is difficult to trace so any information may help) Many thanks Sarah |
