Trying to find out any information about my mother's parents. \My mother's maiden name is Barbara Hughes, born 15th June 1933. Her mother died when she was young (about age 9 i believe) and her dad remarried. Mum moved out of the home and went to live with friends. She came from Tarvin or Tarporley in Cheshire. Met my father Bert in Chester in 1953/4. She had close friends Josie and Tom Lyon who still live in tarporley. Her bridesmaids nickname was Titch. Mum died in 1988, dad died in 2004 and i am trying to trace mum's side of the family tree. Have just found out her father was George Henry Hughe from Hollow MOOre Heath, Barrow. Mother Sarah Ellen Robinson. |
