My name is Margot Morris nee Hughes. I would like to find any of my Father's family from the Colwyn Bay area. His name was Iorwerth Davies Hughes(Ted) married to Margaret James. This was my Dad's 2nd marriage, I believe his first wife died at a yound age, but I do not have names or any other details.They had three children, Elwyn, Ronnie and Barbara who were all brought up by welsh realtives. My Dad was a Railway signalman who moved to Northamptonshire then Warwickshire.My grand-father was Richard Hughes who lived at Bethania,Marie Drive, Old Colwyn.Dad had the following siblings, but I am not sure of their dates of birth. Richard, married to Vera, Robin who worked for AA and lived opposite my grand-father,Eirlys his sister married to Bob and had a daughter, my cousin, Linda, Maldwyn married to Doreen, he was a long distance HGV driver. I would be most grateful for any information anyone may have about my welsh relatives. |
