JOHN HUGHES [born May 1828 in Wrexham]. If anyone has any information relating to John Hughes, in particular details of his parents, Edward Hughes and Ellinor Jones, it would be appreciated if you could share it with me. John married Alice Sarah Cronshaw [born around 1825 in Preston] on 5 August 1852 in Liverpool Register Office and they had 8 children, including my grandfather WILLIAM CRONSHAW HUGHES [born 9 August 1856]. I know that prior to William marrying my grandmother, Christina Counsell, he was married [and widowed, I think] to someone else but as there are so many William Hughes's born that year in Liverpool, I am finding it difficult to narrow down my search. Any help would be much appreciated. |
