Still looking for descendants of WILLIAM HUGHES (Photographer) b. Oxford 1847 and ELLEN LEAHY b. Cork 1850 . They had at least two and almost certainly more offspring. One, WILLIAM JOHN HUGHES born Birmingham 1874 was my grandfather. They also had a daughter ELIZABETH HUGHES born in Ireland in 1872. WILLIAM JOHN married CECILIA TWAITES and had six children. WILLIAM, (Bill) THOMAS (Tom) LOUIS (Lou) JOSEPH (Joe) my father VINCENT (Vince) CECILIA (Cis) and ELLEN (Nel) They are all from Birmingham and cousins that I remember include, EILEEN, IRIS, WILLIAM, Twins DAVID and LOUIS all HUGHES. If you think you may be any relation or if any of these names ring even a distant bell then please, please, get in touch I would love to hear from you.
