I am looking for information on my Grandmother ELLEN JANE HUGHES born 28 December 1905 Bermondsey, Southwark, South East London , she married my Grandfather RICHARD WILLIAM HEARN, but not sure of the date, possibly around 1940. Her mother was ELLEN HUGHES (Nee WILSON) and her father was GEORGE HUGHES. George and Ellen Married on 24th December 1899, in St John's Church, Newington, Southwark South East London. My Nan did have other brothers and sisters but I know nothing about them - my cousin recalls going to "Auntie Lizzies" house so may of had a sister Elizabeth. Would love to hear from anyone who can help me with any of these people as I'm stuck on tracing my family tree. Thanks |
