Member Since: January 2007 Posts: 1 Send Message	Hi I am trying to find out a little history of my late Grand-father, Thomas Edward Hughes born approx 1880? in Newtown Powys, all I know is that he was one of several brothers their father my great grand father had a small holding. Thomas left Powys quite young approx 15 or 16 to walk to south wales where he eventually married Elizabeth Parker and had 6 daughters and 4 sons three of which died in infancy Elizabeth died in 1952 and Thomas died in 1954 we think.
