can anyone help I am trying to trace my farther lewis richard hughes born around the 30`s last know place was crowther aveune brentford middlesex, his occupation was capstan operator.my mothers name was margarette philomena hughes formerly lenane.my mother`s date of birth 10-01-1930 also trying to trace family on mother`s side thier from ireland and had stable`s in kildare my granfather`s name was william lenane my granmother was mary lenane (nee feeny) ps.I belive my father came from wales |

Hi Julie,I know you are searching for info on your father,I will do some research and see what I can find. I am very interested to know if you have a Kathleen Feeny,would probably be your grandmothers sister. Kathleen Feeny was godmother to my husband (Michael Cunningham born 1940 in Middlesex) Michael's mother was Mary and I have reason to believe that they came from Kildare. Michael was registered in his fathers name Cunningham, but were not married.Michael has been told he has a half sister born about 1930 (on his child migration papers) and I am wondering if it could be your mother? I know this is a long shot but we only have a small branch to go on. Also do you have any Coffey's connected to you. |
