new to this board and slowly cracking up for sure!

my father died when I was 3 (I am now 36yrs old) and I am really trying unsuccessfully to locate his half brothers and sisters from Kingston Jamaica. my father left the West Indies aged 15yrs as a stoway thinking the ship was going to America and ended up in Liverpool. He died young at 47yrs.

However, we do not no an awful lot about him other than the fact he was born in Kingston, was brought up by his Grandmother in Montego Bay. She was called Louisa and his mother was called Elsie Jackson. She had him when very young and did not marry his father who's surname was Nugent. (no first name ever given).

However, his mother did go on to marry and she had many sons and daughters.

My father became nationalised in the 50's or 60's in Liverpool and even had a passport.

I don;t know where to begin to try and trace his family in the west Indies any advise.

Many Thanks, Lou
