Thomas and Mary Jackson Does anyone know anything about my Gt. Gt. Grandfather Thomas Jackson who was possibly born in Ireland. His wife was Mary M.... (can't decipher her surname) was also possibly born in Ireland (not confirmed). Their daughter was Hannah (ann) Jackson born about 1857 in Kilmarnock, Ayshire - she married David Colville in 1876. Mary was living in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, according to 1881 Census, with her 5 year old grandaughter Agnes Colville- daughter of Hannah-who was deceased by this time. According to the census Mary was 40 and worked as an Agricultural Labourer. There is no mention of Thomas, but she is still shown as being married- so he was probably elsewhere at the time of the census. Look forward to hearing from someone, Regards Nancy
