I am looking for any information on my father's uncle, GEORGE JACKSON. My father says that George emigrated to Canada in the 1920's and became a tram driver in Vancouver. George was one of ten siblings and most of these I have got a DOB but George is a problem. He doesn't appear on the 1901 Census and I assume that he was born earlier. I thinks he would have been born in the district of Spilsby, Lincs, and the family at the time of the 1901 Census lived at New Leake, Lincs. I know that he was married to Floss (maiden name unknown)and that they had two children, Sid and Gladys. My father says that before WW2 they all came over to visit and Gladys was the last of the family to go back in 1937. Gladys must have been of age as she did some part time work at the local pub. I don't know if he was already married/had children when he emigrated. Any information would be muchly appreciated as it is driving me bonkers now.
