Trying to find William JACKSON b. C.1840-1860 possibly from B/Ham area - Occupation 'Bricklayer'. I believe him to be the father of my Gt Grandfather William Henry GOSS (b. 1878 Workhouse, B/Ham). There is no fathers name on William Henry's birth cert. (his mothers name was Amelia Goss b. 1858). However his marriage cert in 1899 states his fathers name as William Jackson, Bricklayer. Is there anyone out there with a William Jackson who worked as a bricklayer in B/Ham that they believe could have been William Goss's father!?
