Trying to find Jackson

Trying to find the son of Alan Jackson (b 1898). He was a Merchant Seaman and worked to and from Larne in Ireland. He was from Yorkshire. The story I have is that he married a girl from Larne and they had a son, but she died either having the baby or soon after. I know his best friend, James Gillen, was also a Merchant Seaman from Larne, and he married Alan's sister Amy. They all ended up living in Yorkshire, but the child, I believe, was raised by his mothers' family in Ireland.. I think he would have been born aound 1920 - 23, so would be into his eighties now. I would love to find him, or any family, and appreciate any help. |
