Hello JACKSON I have the following: 1891 Census Preston Lancashire: James JACKSON age 48, a plasterer Maria, his wife age 46 HENRY a painter age 18, AGNES ELLEN age 16, a cotton weaver, THOMAS age 13 a painter, ALFRED age 11 a plasterer, ANDREW age 9, EDWARD age6, ELIZABETH ANN age 3 and LAWRENCE age 1. ANDREW is DEAF and DUMB. I'm pretty sure there is an older brother JOHN age 24/5, already a widower living at another address. JOHN later married an ELIZABETH JANE TITHERINGTON. I have them in 1901, still in PRESTON, Lancashire. JOHN, a painter, wife LILY, daughter MINNIE born 1893, daughter LILY (also ELIZABETH JANE) born 1894, son JOHN born 1897 and son WILLIAM born 1899. I have heard there were others later called ANNIE, HAROLD, ERNIE, and POLLY. ALL JACKSON, BORN PRESTON, LANCASHIRE. I would love to hear from someone about this family. Suzanne |
