I am trying to find information about the family of John Reginald Jackson born in Hull, later moved to Sheffield, Rotherham and finally Wickersley. He was born in 1906, Mothers Name Lily Jackson and he had two sisters Lily and Elsie Jackson, who the family lost touch with. He was the Manager of the Benefit Boot and Shoe Company shop in Rotherham for some twelve years until his death in 1949. His wife was Amelia Pearson (known as Milly), son John Michael and daughter Christine Mary. Any information greatly appreciated. His father,also John Jackson, a serjeant in the East Yorkshire Regiment, died at Ypres in 1915, killed by a snipers bullet, no known grave. |
