Trying to find Brian my brother who was born 14.2.46 in Eye, Hartismere. Mother Rachel (Ray) Alice Jacobs born 16.3.27 in Bethnal Green. ?Aunt Miriam Adelaide Grant (otherwise Jacobs) married Patrick John Walker in March 1952 in Bethnal Green. She was 23, he was 27. Grandmother Rachel Alice Turner married John Thomas Jacobs in December 1926, she was age 19, he 20. It's possible they used the names Grant or Walker from 1952. I was borne in the London Hospital on 4.1.1949 and named Bernadette Yvonne Jacobs, when my mother, brother and grandmother were living at 3 Peace Terrace, Vallance Rd, E1. Other people living at 3 Peace Terrace were Ray Garcia, John & Joyce Grant, Milly Jacobs, Mildred Grant and Mildred Walker. I have been searching for my birth family since I was 18 years old without success. Any information about any of these people would be wonderful. |
