I have a copy of a marriage certificate for William James age 28 his residence at the time of his marriage was Dixton he married Emma Williams age 20 her residence was Berry Hill West Dean
They married on the 25th March 1860 on the certificate William's father Is James James (c1810) it is him who I am searching for and his wife. Any information would be very helpful and appreciated.

Marriage certs do not give the age of the fathers............

What was the father's stated occupation?

What was William's birthplace?

Dixton is possibly Monmouthshire

Fathers age is an assumption and his occupation was Husbandman
The certificate does not give Williams place of birth only his place of residence at the time of marriage

Susan has the correct family as I have all the same names in my tree.
Its William's parants I am after James and his wife I dont have any birth years for them or from where they came

On the map Buckholt is the next place to Dixton

Susan all the names on the 1871 census are correct but not the one's on the 1841 census. the 1871 census is the right family
