My Grandmother`s maiden name was Ada John, I think she was born In S. Wales But I think her family originally came from Bristol. She was born c1897, I don`t know where but she married my Grand father about 1915 and eventually settled in Cardiff. I have in my possession a number of Memorial cards: 1. Barclay John, 1851-1897 2. Ethel John, 1889-1897 3. William John, 1892-1894 4. William John, 1886-1889 5. Emily Ethel John, 1883-1889 6. Barclay John, 1882-1885 7. Catherine John. 1881-1884 All, I think were buried in the S. Wales area. I think my Grandmother was also related to a Fox family from the Templemeads area of Bristol. In my possession I also have Memorial cards for: Emma Fox 1825-1872. Sarah Cocum 1823-1888 Thomas Fox 1818-1885 I think the last three names were all born and buried in the Bristol area, and related on my grandmother`s side. |
