Please can anyone help me to find details of Jane Johnson's parents and siblings?

She was born in approx 1840 in Pelton Fell or Chester le Street in County Durham, England.

She married a John Ridley in Chester le Street in Oct-Dec 1858. They had a number of children including Mary Ridley (b1878 in Cornsay Colliery, Durham) from whom I am descended.

I would be most grateful for any assistance.

Hi Lynne
Pelton was covered by Chester Le Street from 1837 to 1938.
The only Jane Johnson I could find between 1837 and 1842 born in that area was in the June Qua 1840

John Johnson 1802 Garforth Northumberland coalminer
Sarah 1811 Chester le Street
Wm Jas 1831 Pelton
Ann 1833 Pelton
John 1836 Pelton
James 1838 Pelton
Jane 1840 Pelton
Sarah 1846 Pelton

on some of them is reads Petton but if you look at the image it reads Pelton

You will still have to get the marriage certificate and birth to verify this
