johnsons in little thurrock

i am trying to find the people who brought up my grandad on his birth cert his name is pyle but he was given to a different family and all i know is he changed his name to bob johnson and his last address was chandlers terrace little thurrock when he married my nan in 1934 the witness was m.e.johnson i know the people who took him in wont be alive but perhaps a relative that remembers is still a live ive found his real family but knot the kind family that brought him up.
my grandad was borm 1909 and died1977 he had 2 daughters .
if anyone could help i would be eternally grateful.

I know this might be a bit of a pain in the bum but if you can wait until sometime next year, then the 1911 census will be available to view and you may then have some luck in finding out who his "adoptive" family were.
Unfortunately ive come to a bit of a stand still with my grandads side of the family who are also Johnson's and without paying out for a few birth certificates I have to wait until next year with the 1911 census.
