Can you find James Johnson born c 1813 Lancaster, i think the area was Slyne/Skerton, his father was Isaac Johnson born c 1785, i am interested in the 1841 census.

WOW - i hope he IS mine......Lol, i know we have Irish connections but i always thought it was on the other side of the family !!
Can i ask if there is any way we can tie him to his dad Isaac, then i will know for sure..........

This one does look good, i have just recieved my GGrandads Police Records i have just looked and Ellal is his place of birth..........

One wonders if son Isaac is named after James's dad.
Of course, James could be a cousin, naming Isaac after his uncle, but I'm inclined to the former guess.
It looks like 1861 neighbour William is James's son.
I've no idea where James himself is in 1841.
