I am trying to find out any information about the family of Mary Ann Johnson, married in 1878 to Henry Arnold. I know her father was named Willliam. They were married at St. John's Church, in the Parish of S. John's, Walworth.Surrey. That is all the information I have but would like to learn more abour here ancestry.

Other helpful information from the marriage certificate would have been age of bride and groom, and occupation of father!!

In the absence of that information, I'm wondering whether this is Henry and Mary Ann in the 1881.

Thank you for your reply. I believe you have the correct entry in the 1881 census. We do know that Henry was b.about 1857. I have found that at the time of the marriage Mary Ann was 20, which means she was b.about 1858, and her father was a general dealer and she lived at 18 Weymonth Street. We have information on Henry, but cannot find out anything about Mary Ann's background.
