hi was wondering if anyone can help me out ...
i have a relative called Andrew Johnson born 1830 died 1904 who married a Mary Spencer b1833 d 1897 they married in Leeds in 1850..
my problem is I cannot get any further with Andrew's side.. all I know is his father was Henry Johnson...
I can't seem to find anything on the family eg. siblings or wife..
If anyone can give me some help.. or have Andrew in their tree or just some hints on where i might be able to find something out..
I have censuses from 1851 to 1901 but nothing before that..in '51 the couple were living in Templenewsam yorkshire ..
they had children nathan mary andrew and david...david is the one that my side is connected to..

yes i do have the marriage certificate...but is in england with my sister at the moment..i forget to bring it back to the states with me...

that really only gave the couples father's names..

There's a tree on ancestry that has this census for 1841 attached to Andrew.

hiya

yep that is the one i came across and thought was right at first .. until i got their marriage certficate
naming henry as the father of andrew johnson...

i have come across some that might be him and it states andrew as a servant..his father henry was a farmer...1851 census is the one i do have...

too many andrew johnson's and johnson's in general to find my acestor lol..
