hi.i am trying to find my g.granddads marrage record he got married in duram sunderland? to my.grandma mary ann stannus or stanners formely watson they are in 1901 cesus not sure of the year .assume about 1899 simply because the eldest johnson is jane aged 11 but maybe i assume to much. thanks in advance

Are you sure your grandma wasn't Mary Jane rather than Mary Ann?

There is a marriage in Sunderland in 1899 of a Mary Jane Stanners/Stanness to either Robert Brewis or John Carr Bailey.

I think the surname is Johnson : "the eldest Johnson is Jane aged 11"; this would make the marriage before 1890 not before 1899. But, I can't find a Jane Johnson b1890 with mother Mary on the 1891.
