Trying to find the birth date of my gt Gt grandmother. Born circa 1840. also her mothers name. Born Chorley, Lancashire. Father Thomas

could not find any of the childrens baptisms at St George or Robert at St Lawrence (baptisms up to 1836)

As Alice's birth does not show on lancbmd but the later ones do I suspect Alice was born in 1837 just before civil reg started in Sept 1837.

the other children on lancsbmd also have mmn = Turner

go to lancashirebmd.org.uk, select births & highlight Chorley, input surname Johnson & mmn Turner, several children including ones not shown on the census, appear
