Can somebody have a look at this one for me please. Purely for elimination purposes I could do with trying to quess who married whom.

Q1 1866 Brixworth R.D. in Northamptonshire. On the page:
William Johnson
John Payne
Amelia Walker and
Betsy Richardson.
I've tried looking for all of them on the 71 census to work out which husband married which wife but I'm strugling. :(

The only thing that might be of interest is a William Johnson died in Brixworth Q4 1868 aged 33 which COULD be the same one but as I'm not sure that either is related to me at all even buying the mariage certificate would be useless to me so I'm just trying pure elimination atm.

These 2 families are mine. George Lillyman married Sarah lois Eady in 1871 and had children charlotte born 1871 and isaac born 1873 sarah then dies in 1876 and on the 1881 census he has a housekeeper elizabeth richardson with daughter sarah richardson born 1879 now she stays with george until her death in 1899 and has children martha, kate, harry, maud and violet all their birth certs have no father listed but elizabeth claims to be richardson formerly johnson. Martha later marries and lists george lillyman as her father which i suspect all of the children were, the only one to retain the richardson name was sarah ann born 1879. I cant find any trace of a elizabeth johnson marrying a richardson nearby but she was illiterate so i thinhk she got it the wrong way round. ??? After elizabeth dies (still as richardson) george remarries again a mary ann cross in 1901 they have no childen together but she already has some of her own. HELP??? lol. Its taken me months to get this far. lol. xx

yes thats the 1901. :) all but elizabeths eldest child sarah ann took the lilyman name and thought george was their father, sarah kept richardson but theres no father listed on her birth either. lol. any clues at all would really help because im starting to feel like my heads going to explode... 6 whole months i've been working on this lot alone with elizabeth evading me for the last 3. xx

could this be a clue to the johnson/ richardson connection?
