Daniel son of Daniel and Elizabeth was my mums Dad. She lived with him and his Mum at 10 apedale road chesterton. My Mum did not know of her own mother untill she left school.
your info has given me so much more as i am new to this. A lot of Daniels in the family as my middle name is Daniel and my Dad was Daniel Harvey Born 1912, and his Dad was Daniel Johnson (no birth date) or of his wife name etc and as my mum Annie Harvey is now 92 she cant remember. If you can help me any further I would be very greatfull.

Sorry, Bit of a "Cock up" there with the info, got carried away with the excitement. As i said a lot of Daniels in the family. My Mum must like that name LOL.
My dad was Daniel Harvey born 1912
His Dad Daniel Harvey born 1871

My Mum Annie Hordel Johnson born 1918 ( Her mum was married to ?) not Mums Dad.
Her Mum gave My Mum to her Dad Daniel Johnson and he and his mother took care of her untill she left school, when her own mother then got back in touch.( she was Annie Hordell born in Hanley in c1892)
Sorry if this sounds confusing, but I've spent near on 60 yrs being confused.

Me again My Mum is still alive at 92 yrs, but she is very vague with info. She is Annie Oakes now as she married again after my Dad.
Her name was "Annie Hordell Heath", I think the Heath bit may of come from her Mothers married name.
