Greetings from Sydney, Australia. I am trying to trace any family members of Charles Dublinus Johnson (my Great Great Grandfather).Born 1823 ? Dublin. Died Isle of Wight 1873. He married Lewis Morrison in Edinburgh on the 18th of December 1848. They lived at Wycliffe house, Phillips Lane, Tottenham Green, Middlesex, England, he was a clerk in Her Majesty's Customs.they appear to have had possibly up to 11 children,a Henry, Mark, James, Albert, Sarah, Alice, Lily, Anne, Mary,Grace, and my Great Grandfather Charles who came out to New Zealand in 1872 possibly with his brother James Manners Johnson. They then added a T & E to their name becoming Johnstone. I would love to hear from any-one who has connections to my family. Many Thanks, Sandra Williams, (nee Johnstone). |
