Hi I am desperately trying to find out more about my ancestors of my family name JOHNSON My grandfather was JOHN WILLIAM JOHNSON born in 1907 in Hanley, Staffordshire. He married ELIZABETH WILLIS. My gr. grandfather was JOHN WILLIAM JOHNSON born abt 1880 in Hanley, Staffordshire. He married ANNIE DUNCALF. My gr. gr. grandfather was JAMES JOHNSON born abt 1855 in Hanley, Staffordshire. He married JANE LOWNDS. My gr. gr. gr. grandfather WILLIAM JOHNSON born abt 1817 in Wellington, Shropshire but moved to Shelton/Hanley, Staffordshire. He married a widow JANE GETHEN, maiden name ADAMS. Finally, my gr. gr. gr. gr. grandfather JOHN JOHNSON who I have hardly have any info on at all.
