Member Since: April 2005 Posts: 9 Send Message	Hi My name is Gill I am trying to find out information on my great great uncle Edward Johnson, all i know about him is that he married a Harriet Wainman in Hull around 1886 there is no mention of his father on their marriage certificate (suggesting either he died before edward was born or that he was illegitimate). from the 1901 census i have found him living in Hull with his wife and childred this is where his family settled. It state's on the census that Edward was 35yrs old and a corporation worker and that he was from Skewsby. This i beleive is not far from York (Easingwold and Teddington are nearby). I have searched York Archives, Beverley Archives etc and still cant find anything on him, is there anyone out there with him in their family tree please. According to the marriage certificate a Richard Johnson was his witness we don't know if Richard was a relative? Please can anyone help!!
