Hello there,l'm looking for any information about my Nan,OLIVE GEORGINA SMITH (Nee' JOHNSON.) She was born in 1922,and died 19TH AUGUST 1951 ,aged 28 years of age ,of T.B., when she lived at 6,MORVAL ROAD,BILBOROUGH leaving a husband and two boys,CYRIL and ANTHONY GERALD SMITH. I think her mother DOROTHY,lived at 22,NORTHGATE, NEW BASFORD. NOTTS.I know for sure that her FATHER was called GEORGE PIGGOTT JOHNSON. I know her mother married again after George died.Olive's STEPFATHER was called WILFRED SELBY. He came from DURHAM ,l think.I know she was the youngest of three daughters,and that she had a younger BROTHER CALLED RAY SELBY,(OR JOHNSON,) WHO WE LAST HEARD, HAD A MARKET STALL IN HEREFORDSHIRE,....DO YOU KNOW THIS GENTLEMAN OR COULD YOU BE RELATED TO OLIVES BROTHER?In OLIVES obituary her Mother had a PUB CALLED THE 'STAG AND PHEASANT',IN BOSTON ,LINCS.,Do you remember living in the pubs out-buildings,after the war !!! I know HER grave is now also the resting place of her Mother ,and her stepfather WILF, . Any help would be apprieciated please....best wishes Caren Allison(nee' SMITH)
