I am trying to find information on Benjamin Johnson of Sheepwash, Devon. He married Mary Musgrove of Buckland Filleigh, Devon in 1793, and had at least one son, William, born 1797. William married Elizabeth Upham of Brixham, Devon in 1827 and they had 3 children, Samuel b. 1828, Hannah b. 1830 and William b.1831, who was my G.grandfather and who married Sarah Ann Clark of Plymouth, in 1851 and shortly afterwards sailed for New Zealand as a soldier in the 65th Regiment, ist Battalion York and Lancashire Regiment, involved in fighting the maori wars. Any information on Benjamin and his family will be welcome. Ross Johnson
