I'm hoping to trace any descendents/relatives of my Gt Aunt & Uncle. JOSEPH ROBINSON JOHNSON c1870, b.Woolwich, Kent He married my Gt Aunt ALICE LEONORA BEATRICE CLEMENTS in Chester in 1894. I have found ALICE on the 1901 census with 2 children (don't know if there were any more). JOSEPH wasn't at home on census night. He was working at the War Office & I believe he was in the Army Service Corps. Children WINIFRED JOHNSON c1898, b.Vauxhall, London JACK LYNDHURST JOHNSON c1899, b. Goring on Thames. JOSEPHS parents were WILLIAM JOHNSON c1836, b.Plymouth ELIZABETH (maiden name unknown) c1840, b.NSW Australia WILLIAM was a QM in the Army Service Corps. Any information greatly appreciated, Regards, June |

Sonia, that's great that you are related isn't it. But as you say, this posting is very old. |
