ROBERT (Bob) JOHNSON, my husbands Great Uncle. He emigrated to USA, eventually to Cleveland Ohio in the 1920's from Preston, Lancashire Thought to be married to Emily? and had at least 2 children. We had a photo of the children 's Holy Communion but unfortunately have lost it. My husband's father's name is WILLIAM BLACKBURN b. 29/6/1900. I have found 2 Robert Johnson's who emigrated on the Carmania from Liverpool and the Lackawanna from Manchester, are these either of the ships that Great Uncle Robert sailed on. I don't know if he married in the UK or USA. I am having difficulty in finding a connection between the Johnson's and BLACKBURN's, can anyone help please. The BLACKBURN family all come from the Preston, Lancashire area. |
