Trying to find DESCENDANTS of WILLIAM JOHNSON born 1715 in GREAT BOLTON,(married ELLEN ROSTRON 1756 Manchester Cathedral)and died 1769, buried Manchester Cathedral. WILLIAM was the SON of THOMAS JOHNSON Silk/Cotton Manufacturer of TYLDESLEY (1679-1703) who married twice (1) MARY NORRIS in 1703 at BLACKROD and (2) ELIZABETH BROOKE in 1725. WILLIAM (1715) had 6 children , including 2 sons, JOHN ch,1758 and WILLIAM ch. 1760, both at Manchester Cathedral. JOHN married ELIZA HOLT also at Manchester Cathedral in 1903. MyGGF SAMUEL JOHNSON, believed born MANCHESTER in 1823 could be related to that family. I would be grateful for information regarding the 2 sons JOHN and WILLIAM.
