Member Since: May 2008 Posts: 138 Send Message	Information known: From his daughters (Susannah's) marriage certificate: They all lived at 11 Cross Street, Prescot in 1904 From 1901 census: Living at 11 Cross Street, Prescot John Jones aged 43 (1858) born in N.Wales in the parish of Halkyn Elizabeth Jones aged 41 (1860) born in N.Wales in the parish of Cilon Their children were: William Jones aged 22 (1879) born in N.Wales in the parish of Cilon Susannah Jones aged 19 (1882) born in N.Wales in the parish of Cilon Peter Jones aged 17 (1884) born in N.Wales in the parish of Cilon Thomas Jones aged 15 (1886) born in Liverpool, Lancashire Annie Jones aged 11 (1890) born in Eccleston, Lancashire I have also found the same information in the 1891 census, but living in 15 Burrows Lane, Eccleston, Prescot, Lancashire. From my workings out, they moved from Wales to Liverpool between 1884-1886. Then they moved from Liverpool to Prescot between 1886-1890. What I cannot find is their marriage, or either of their births and death indexes. Neither can I find their parentage. Has anybody got a fresh pair of eyes that can find something I am missing please? Any information on this family would be gratefully received. Thank you.

	in addition to the one tania has found with parents Thomas & Mary there are 2 John Jones born in Cilcain on the IGI - one born in 1860 and this one JOHN JONES Event(s): Birth: Christening: 18 APR 1858 Cilcain, Flint, Wales Parents: Mother: DINAH JONES as only the mother is named it suggests that this John may have been illegitimate. Finding his birth index is nearly impossible unless you have the exact qtr & year as there are many John Jones born Flintshire

	Do you know what Elizabeth's maiden name was as there is a John /Elizabeth marriage in the district of Holywell (the district for Cilcain) in 1878 which would fit with the eldest child's birth Marriages Mar 1878 HUGHES John Holywell 11b 316 >>>JONES John Holywell 11b 316 Lloyd Anne Holywell 11b 316 >>>Lloyd Elizabeth Holywell 11b 316
