Trying to find any link to John Jones known as Galloping Jones in Queensland 1910-1920
He was born in .Llanspyddid, brecon South Wales UK im 1868
must have emigrated in before 1881 census, died in 1920, at 52yrs, no more information until 1963, his grandson John Jones
graduated from school of military engineering at Melbourne in 1963. Would like to know what the link is to Galloping Jones or if indeed he was THE GALLOPING JONES can you be of any help?

Do you have a marriage or anything else on him? Do you know a more specific area for him?

There are alot of marriages in that time frame.
