I WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT REAL MOTHER, HER NAME WAS ELIZA EMILY GLADYS JONES WHO GIVE BIRTH TO ME ON THE 11-4-1948 AT CROSSHOUSE HOSPITAL BERRINGTON
SHREWSBURY.
I WAS PUT INTO COUNCIL CARE AFTER BIRTH.
I WAS IN A CHILDREN HOME FOR 11 YEARS AND WAS THEN
FOSTERED TO MY FOSTER PARENTS WHO ARE BOTH NOW DEAD.
I KNOW SHE WAS DOMESTIC SERVANT AT 55 THE BANK ONIBURY NR LUDLOW SALOP.
I WOULD LIKE KNOW ABOUT AND WHAT HAPPENED TO HER
JOHN EDWARDS (BIRTH NAME JONES)
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME

Hi John, was Jones her maiden name do you know? If so, it may be worth looking through the marriage indexes to find a possible marriage for her.

Found the same birth as Sheila.

Eliza E G Jones JFM quarter 1925 Ludlow 6a 821 Mothers maiden name Farmer.

Jones a bit of a nightmare to research.

John has been in touch, do not think he has a lot to go on, I reckon it is worth ordering the marriage cert to confirm the name age etc.

Think Eliza may have been one of 10, couple of poss children to the marriage if they where born in Ludlow, Evans/Jones births there are so many if they moved away.

Thanks Sheila and all. Well if John comes back once he has the M/c and we can go from there. We have poss addresses (1 each) for Jones & Evans in Shrop..........

Only problem is Eliza was 1 of 10 and only 1 is male , found poss address for him, but give that all these people could be in their 80's or 90's then I am not sure.

Sheila are any of the siblings listed n GR?
