I'm trying to find more information about the parents of Thomas Wiiliam Jones, a coal miner from Huyton Quarry in Liverpool. I know lots already about his children and himself, but I am finding it particularly hard to find his own ancestors.

I am his great Grand daughter, Sarah Capper and I am 18 years old. I appreciate that the Jones name is not the easiest to trace as it is very popular... especially in Wales, which I know some of my family come from.

I will be most grateful for any help, as I seem to be at a loose end here.

Thank you,
Sarah Capper

Thank you once again. I wonder who those people are living with them in the 1891 census. Possibly friends or neighbours? Maybe even relatives. I'm suprised to see that Dorothy's father lived to at least 75 as he is on the 1901 census. Is there anyway you could trace either of Robert or Dorothy's parents further? I'd like to discover just how Welsh we actually are.

And could you also tell me how you get this information? I might look into doing it myself if it's not too costly. My grandparents might be grateful of that.

Thank you again,

Sarah
