Am looking for my Dads half sis. Bit of a long shot.
His name is John Alfred Rolfe, his mother was Kathleen Violet Minnie Rolfe, married name Jones. She had a girl with the surname Jones, husbands name Thomas David Jones who worked and lived in Shepherds Bush for the G.W.R. . Not sure of the babys name as the mum died and Dad was put in an orphanage. Thomas took the baby girl and was never heard of again!
I have reason to believe the little girl was called Jean born circa 1937??? not sure!
If anyone cann help with any info ,it would be appreciated, as Dad is now 76 this July and it would be lovely for them to meet up!!!!!

As a matter of fact, one of the Chelmsford births I referred to on page 3 of that thread is a Joan or Jean. Let's go back there and continue.
