i'm trying to find any reference to my Gt. grandparents Josesph Jones b. 1873 and his wife Jane Lloyd b.1876. I know that they had a large family my Nan Naomi b. 1907 being 1 of the youngest any help would be appreciated.

There is this entry but the places don't match. However they are the same reference number

the 1891 marriage for joseph Jones is mistranscribed
it should read Ruthin 11b p 477

Am wondering where the name Lloyd came from ( can't see a marriage)

This birth cert would confirm mother's maiden name.

I think you are going to have to buy that marriage certificate to get any further back


the certificate will give you the names of the 2 fathers and their occupations ...... which may help in searching back.

I have just heard that Jane Jones b 1997 died at the age of 14 as the result of a fire, does anyone know were i can get information about this?

I think you mean b1897 not 1997, very simple mistake l make all the time. Do you know where she died as l can only see 3 deaths but none down south.

We think that they lived in the Copthorne, Smallfield area on the Surrey/Sussex border's.
