Grand mother search Lucy Jones, Edge, Hirons

I am trying to trace my grand mother (who I think died in Pershore in 1959 - awaiting the death certificate). She was born in Liverpol in 1895. She was adopted by Eliza Edge (nee Hirons). On the 1901 census she was living in Chester with the Edge family. She was still then Lucy Jones.
On the 1911 census my grand mother was still living with Eliza in Chester but was known as Lucie Edge.
My father was born in a Poor House in 1925. He left for adopted parents in 1928. His mother Lucy left in 1929 in the care of James Edge. I don't know anything about what could have happened to her in between then and 1959 (when if I am right she is recorded again as Lucy Jones).
Did she have any more children? Is there anyone who has a record of her?
Any information would be very welcome, Trevor

If you have the right lady and she is Lucy Jones at death then this suggests she didnt marry.
Have you looked for more births for Edge/Jones.
Have you looked for deaths for James and Eliza Edge she may have been an informant.

Shirley - yes and no luck so far. I have found a number of people with her Grand mother in the tree and Lucy's "brothers and sisters" but not her.

I have had no luck so far on births (at the momemt I suspect she had no other children as I would have expected her to appear in someone's tree is she was part of a family.

You are right about the deaths. I have been a bit lazy on that side, but will take your advice.

Yes. in the 1911 census he has moved out (still in Chester) living with a wife and from memory three children. Lucie (as she is shown in 1911) was living with Eliza.

Eliza (Hirons) had a daughter Amelia (b 1871 Malvern) who would have been c25 when Lucy was born. Also Amelia was living in Liverpool in 1895 when Lucy was born - she is on the 1891 census as living in Liverpool . Amelia went on to marry Edwin Rannard (still in Liverpool in 1901).
